The International Association of Ahmadi Architects & Engineers is an international organization catering to the professional development needs of Ahmadi Muslim engineers, architects and technologists. The primary aim is to provide humanitarian aid and development to the poorest of the world.

IAAAE was founded in 1980 by Hadrat Khalifatul Masih III, Mirza Nasir Ahmad (rh), the third caliph, to gather applied-scientists and researchers with the purpose of interpreting and correlating the scientific research in the light of the Holy Qur’an. Such an association was also considered essential in providing assistance to the Ahmadiyya Jammat in meeting its architectural and engineering needs.

In 2004 at the first IAAAE symposium of its type, Hazrat Amirul Momemeneen Khalifatul Masih V, Mirza Masroor Ahmad directed the Association towards also providing humanitarian aid and logistical support to the poorest of the world. Under his guidance the following sub-committees were formed to carry out his aspirations:

  • Water for Life (WFL)
  • Alternate Energy (AEC)
  • Architecture
  • Model Village

Each committee is tasked with fulfilling the following objectives

  • Provide clean potable drinking water to remote parts of Africa.
  • Investigate and provide renewable energy solutions to remote parts of Africa.
  • Provide for the provision of MTA in Ahmadi villages across Africa.
  • Aid in the design and construction of schools, hospitals, community centres and mosques to serve all.

IAAAE is working on behalf of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat to serve humanity regardless of faith, belief or culture.
