Low primary school enrollments in Mali have been a great concern for the nation's upcoming generation. Families are struggling to cover the school fees, provide uniforms and provide books for their children.
What we did
This year IAAAE’s Architectural Society from the United Kingdom and Netherlands decided to start building two primary schools. Each one of the schools will have six class rooms. Work is still in progress, we hope to complete this school by February 2016.
We are hoping to provide affordable primary education for the locals in Mali with a capacity of 380 pupils. The national president of our community in Mali has a vision to build at least 50 schools across Mali together with IAAAE. We hope this vision will become reality in the near future.
